It all started the summer of 2014. I got my first glimpse of what my gift truly was. My teaching journey started at NIA community services at PS186 in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn.
For for 4 years, I taught breakdance to over 200 students in the after school program and summer camp. I created recitals, Christmas shows, performances and traveled to other programs to perform our awesome routines. From there, I completed by degree in education at Brooklyn College and became a certified teacher for the Department of Education. As a committed full time education teacher I felt a yearning in my heart to expand my teaching to fitness and breakdance again so I decided to take the risk of becoming a freelance teacher.
After teaching with the Department of Education for 5 years, I decided to expand my teaching capabilities into the field of fitness and break dance. Well here I am. As a freelance teacher my main goal is to impact my community and help maximize my students potential.
